Yes you can add title, description to all your pages from the General Tab in the sidebar on the main Dashboard. whereas you can add your keywords in the posts and articles.
Thanks a lot for sharing wonderful idea. Please clarify one doubt that what is the best using plugin (all in one seo) or maintain manual metatags in wordpress. I am asking this question because I am totally new for WP and going to launch my new site using WP theme. So I am afraid about SEO.
using a plugin would be easy as manual meta tag will require too much of coding , i recommend going for plugin only

depends on budget All In SEO will ask for donate for this plugin but u can solve ur all query with free . all in seo not solve all ur meta tags prblem like u can add title, keyword and meta tag description . how u can add robots and others meta tag its not necessary for adding others meta tag in your pages but i had seen lots of websites add all meta tag like document-classification,allow-search,distribution.u can add with Meta tag manager plugin but it will help only with home page and works with internal pages with same title.
Yes. These all are working for only home page only. What should need to do for other pages. Different pages are targeting different keywords and descriptions. Any good suggestion.
