adding e to domain names question

I am thinking of making another domain purchase, and I would like a little input. A lot of site have an e infront of the domain, elinks, egames, egamesonline, ebusinessonline.

How does the e affect seo or SERPs for the keywords.

The domain I am thinking of is actually two words, similar to egamesonline.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

As long as it makes sense, it's a good idea.

Depends on what search engine. Yahoo and MSN depend on URL for results but adding an e wouldnt make a huge difference.

Thanks for the replies. I just purchased ehealthsites.com and I plan to make a directory of it. I know it is not a lot by itself, but I think the name fits a health directory well.

The sad thing is that so many search engines can't parse the 'e' from the rest of the domain. (It's the same thing on two word domains without a hyphen).

    Nice domain, good luck.
