Hello, I have a US Business PayPal account, and I'm gonna add a US VISA Debit card to it, but the problem is that I am currently living in Latvia. As I see, they check if it is a valid US card with my name on it, and they check the billing address as well. No problems with that. The problem is that I am logging into paypal thru a latvian IP address, so I'm not sure if I won't get limited becouse of it. As I understand, I cannot use a US Proxy for PayPal, but I really need to add the card and "confirm my location". Any suggestions? Thank you.
klavs_r, I don't think it will be a problem if you add Visa Debit card and access paypal from Latvia. But you have to access your paypal account using the same IP or same range (if you have dynamic IP). It would be better calling them if you are still confused.
If you do everything legal & US Citizen then IP does make any problem. just a call. You can use PP debit card over the world. Any one can collect money from ATM for you. the 2nd card you can give your wife.
I've logged into my Paypal account from the US, Canada, Europe (several locations) Japan and Korea. I've never had a single problem with them as a result.
To solving your problem, I agree with some answer, calling or mailing to paypal, why it can be happen. After it, you can share here again, it will be usefull when we get a same problem...
