Some times if set, a post needs to be authorized by admin first.

I assume your reason for posting a blog is for backlinking, well chances are it will get deleted, if it dosent it holds little value and is a very spammy approach,

A good method for any begineer is article submission directories - read my thead Article Sumbission Directories about 10 down and let me know if you dont understand it...

    Goodluck :D

most blogs that are actually worth posting to moderate comments. i wouldn't waist time thinking about it. Post to tons of blogs and some comments will be rejected some approved.

Fair enough, that is pretty much the only example when I do recommend blog commenting as a form of link development. It must be to content relevent niche's and actually have a reason for the comment and not just to drop the link. This is when your post will actually get accepted because the owner will appreciate your kind words.

I personally do a lot of commenting on relevent niches, but dont drop links. The reason is because building an ally network will be very helpful and a great way to start good quality link exchanges...

Your comments need to be approved by the authors before they can show.

Check a few days later. If the comments are approved, you will be able to see it. A few weeks later, you can see the links when you check Yahoo or Google webmaster report.

OK so that site Ive linked to above has added a comment from multimaster at the bottom, when you click on his name multimaster it goes to his site. I called my name the name of my company Vision Window Films should I try and call it something without the phrase window film in - will this help me for SEO purposes as I wont be backlinking with an actual keyword or phrase?

Some blog owners require comments to go through approval first, to prevent spammers.

Most likely the comments have to be approved my the moderator before the public can see them. As long as you are adding something of value you should have no issues. Comment Away!!

Most blogs require admin moderation after you post your comment on the blog. This setting help for blog owner to manage spam comments.once you comment then the admin view it and if he decide it is not spam and help the blogger community and your post will appear.
