I want to do a prize giveaway on my blog, and have just a simple text box that people can enter their email address to enter the contest. What's the best way to do this in Blogger? I just want to have it over on the right side bar near the top. Thanks. (i know, i know...switch to WordPress..I'm working on it )
What do you want to have happen when people enter there email address? One suggestion, just put up a "Mail Me" link that hyperlinks to your email address. Then when people click on it, a new email window opens up (in there email program) and they can hit send and send you an email. But if you want to store the email addresses in a database of some sort, you'll I think you'll need another server to do this (I can set one up for you if you . It's not a blogger feature I don't think) And FYI. I haven't had much luck with contests or using email boxes. People seem to scared they will be spammed or don't trust the contest. Thanks JPR... I think I found a solution. I'm just going to have a link on my blog page that goes to a page on another site I run which has the form I need. I'm going to give away a pair of Nike golf shoes..I just need to get some entries
