    Hey,

Is there any way I can get an aweber opt-in form within my pdf file? I am collecting email addresses at the start but I know that my guide will be given away by my subscribers so want to cash in on the people that it gets sent to

    thanks

I put this in general marketing because it is about marketing and is very general, not sure if it should have been programming but oh well.

Add a link in the PDF (click here to request information...) which just leads to a small opt in form (name email submit) hosted on your site.

Here is what I do, create a basic landing page with a subscribe form, get them to opt in again on the following page, and on your welcome email simply put the hyperlink for the pdf download there. I'm certain you can do that with Aweber.

Here's the example from my ebook

It's about as straightforward as it gets.

I think you've got it the wrong way around, I have a pdf file I am going to release and want users who did not get the pdf through signing upto my newsletter to be able to sign-up through the pdf file.

Thanks Mike for your help but I have been doing this already and the conversion sucks I was thinking that if the user was able to fill in all of his information straight from the pdf it would increase conversions

You can use pdf pop up pro

    Update:
There is also a free version, just look for pdf pop up free and you should find it.
