How can I add Adsense to my blog ? I know some people use a plugin but I am more interested in instructions on how to set it up. Cheers !
Take the code provided by Google and paste into the location you want the ads to appear (i.e., sidebar.php, index.php).
By set it up do you mean setup the plugin or input the code directly into your blog's template? If how to setup the plugin, the following 2 are what I usually suggest to people (both with fairly easy setup options and a lot of features): AdSence Deluxe: http://www.acmetech.com/blog/2005/07/26/adsense-deluxe-wordpress-plugin/ Adsense Manager: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/adsense-manager/ Both of the pages have detailed installation instructions and should be straight forward. If you mean to enter it directly into the template it is exactly as mizaks stated. Generate the code through your adsense account and find where in your template you want to put it, and copy/paste the code there
Is there any problem using adsense plugin You have more options if you use any adsense plugin and btw there are so many adsense plugins available. Just go through it. DON.
If you are using Wordpress I would suggest the "Adman plugin". If you need step by step instructions I would try Youtube they have some great video. Really helped me.
I use Wordpress and I think that using a plugin would be better than adding ad codes manually. Oh and I didn't know that you could add Adsense to blogspot blogs. That's really cool. Thanks everybody for the info
