adding adsense code to wordpress default themes

    Iam very much struggling in understanding , where do i paste the adsense code to the default themes available in wordpress.

    please provide me the solution to this problem

    Where exactly are you wanting to put them (header, sidebar widgets, within posts)?

    You can use the Adsense plugin to put the code within posts. Either that, or do it manually in the 'code' part of the write function in the WYSISWYG editor.

    You can also add the code into the sidebar text widgets to get ads to show in your sidebar.

    It would probably be easier to use a plugin so you don't have to manually edit your themes when/if you change.
