Adding a redirect... how long with the PR transfer take?

I've just done a redirect from a subdomain (with a PR4) to a root domain which i've just bought. How long will it take for google to transfer the google PR from the subdomain and allocate it to the new root domain? Any ideas? Presumably all the subpage PR's will also move with the change?

I think, as soon as it sees it. Maybe it depends on if google has your site in the sandbox. Only you will see it when google will publish the PR next time. It does it every 3 to 4 months.
The subpages PRs should also move...

I've just done a redirect myself and hoping to see the PR transfer soon. Unfortunately my site doesnt get crawl that often, so i suppose mine would take even longer.
