I have a question about putting a link into the body of my text. I'm using Blogger and I would like to include a link to my second website somewhere in my text. Does this require knowledge of HTML? How can I do this? Thanks.
Requires zero knowledge of HTML. All you need to do is sign into your Blogger account, click on Manage > Posts next to the appropriate blog on the dashboard and then click 'Edit' next to the post you want to put your link into. Make sure you're viewing that post in 'Compose' mode and then select the anchor text with your mouse. Once your text is selected just click on the insert hyperlink button (looks just like the one here at DP) and type in your URL. Republish the post and the job's a good 'un.
CountryBoy said it all. And even if you find that difficult to do then just add this HTML line in your post( where you want to put the link) <a href="http://www.yoursite.com">Anchor Text</a> Replace www.yoursite.com with the site you want to link to and Anchor Text with the text you want. You can use this code both in compose mode or edit html mode. The result will be same.
Just go to your post and highlight the text that you want to have a link thaen click the link button above then put the URL.
