Adding a captcha to biz directory?

I'm looking to add basic anti-bot control to a biz-directory script at www.art-lists.com I'm currently setting up.

I think I'd probably be looking for a captcha - or a simple question to be answered for automated submission control (like Jeremy Zawodny has on his blog - there's a line where you are asked "What is the first name of Jeremy Zawodny - so you type "Jeremy").

Not sure what I need to do, though.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Much appreciated if you do.

In my oppinion you would be better of implementing a Captcha image verification instead of asking a simple question.

All one have to do is visit the site and know what the question is and program their bots to answer it if you have the same question over and over again.

Captcha is much more versatile but not water proof so to speak.

I hate submitting to sites that use validation... I hope you change your mind. :)
