Adding a calendar page to website to boost seo

Question:Question:What would the consensus be on adding a calendar page to my web site to get more of my keywords crawled by a bot from google?

    MY theory:
Goggle seems to hit my site daily on the calendar page: most of the bots that crawled my pages before I optimized hit on my calendar page>(I’m assuming they crawl it for the date)
So I thought that maybe if I re added my calendar page with my keywords added to the dates maybe my keywords would be picked up more, resulting in better pr from goggle

Ex: April 16,2005 (keywords) house cleaning spot open (keyword being house cleaning)
    Any thoughts

I'm putting up a Horoscope page, just incase the bot wants to check how it's day is going to me.

if your gonna use a calendar it would also only really give any benfit if you had some kind of archive script where each page of the calender linked to the archived pages for that day.

    QUESTION:
does the amount of keywords listed in your indexed pages boost your listing?

i have noticed that i am now starting to rank on some on my archived pages, i doubt this has anything to do with the calendar i have and is most probally because the pages are starting to age a little.

the only real benefit ive had from archived pages so far (apart from wots mentioned above) is the amount of pages indexed by search engines.

however my site is still very new so could just be they aint ranking due to some filter.
