Adding a Blog to your site

    Hi,

    I want to add a blog to my site so i can add fresh content to my site regularly. My first question is do i put the bog like so www.domain.com/blog or do i just have the urls coming straight off the main site like. www.domain.com/blog-entry-page-name.php

    Also what is the best software to do what i need. I don't need anything to complicated it simply needs to just categorize the into months and that's all i need.

    I would recommend Wordpress, it's great, easy to use, and free. Descriptive URLs with keywords in them are always better.

    I second WP. Search engines love it and it's very user friendly. And use keywords when you can.

    Yep wordpress is gd, i also recommend blog solution; google it.
    I would recommend you make the blog in another directory like you said so:
    domain.com/blog

    Wordpress is very good and it is easy to handle. If you want to put your blog under your main domain then you can put your blog under yourdomain.com and your post URL will be yourdomain.com/blog-entry-post-name/, it is good from Search Engine point of view. But if you want to show your blog separately from your main domain then yourdomain.com/blog will be better option and your post URL will be yourdomain.com/blog/blog-entry-post-name/. Always use proper keyword and title for your post it will help you get good ranking in Search Engine. :)
