Adding a bank account to paypal

    Hi, I hope to hear feedback from fellow DP members

    I'm a non-US citizen. Does anyone knows other banks other than E-trade which we can apply for an account so that we can add a US bank account to our paypal? I just browse through Ameritrade, but is it considered a bank account and accepted by paypal?

    Since 9/11 tragedy, non-US citizen don't allowed to open new bank account which based on US via internet. So you need to go to US in order to open US bank account.

    Why not open non US PayPal account? For non US PayPal account, you only need VCC to verify it.

    First of all where do you live? Like Indian Accounts need only a VCC to verify but As Himanuzo said Non Us citizens do need a Bank Account in US and therefore you would not be verified if you have a Us Paypal Account

    I think its not totally right , still the non-us citizen could manage to make a us bank account but those are very much sensitive also you have to provide a lot of information .

    Buy a VCC from hellfire or Freedomcards and you can add that as a bank account ;)

    E-trade is not a good option as bank account any longer.
    Try others like www.accentvisacard.com

    Just open a bank... PayPal don't check your stat's. I verified mine when i was 15...

    Uh... guys thanks for your answers. But it seems that I still don't pretty get the answers that I need. Basically, I don't want to risk opening a paypal account as a US resident (getting my account banned is terrible) or getting a VCC. Any other Banks similar like Etrade allowing non US citizen to open an account?
