Hi, I am thinking of adding a "Articles by Date" section to my rather large articles directory. This will mean that it will help my visitors as they can click on the link and then there will be the years listed with the months of the year. If someone wants to search for articles that were approved on my site in Jun 2004 then all they have to do is click on the month of Jun in 2004 and it will list all of the articles approved in that month. This is a good thing for my visitors as they can easily look at articles from the past. But, I was just wondering would doing something like this be a bad thing for Google, as they are likely to crawl it and pick up outdated articles. Could doing something like this get me penelized from Google. I know it will help my visitors. What do you think I should do. Do you think I should add this feature to my site for not? If I add it then it will just be a new feature for my visitors, if I don't then it just means that my site doesn't change.
