I looked over your Terms Of Service and it doesn't say anything in there about having a website which contains images that take space offered in the hosting plan. I'm really interested in this because my website has practically thousands of BIG images which would roughly take 400-500GB Space. Is this breaking any ToS that you have? I want to know before I spend 6$ on this host, because I don't want to get suspended the next day, so that is why I am asking in advance, to be sure I will not break any ToS.
As I've stated before, as long as you do not break our terms of service, you will be fine. But just to let you know, transferring something that large would most likely cause high server load, thus would break our terms of service. EDIT: Storage isn't the problem when it comes to things like this, it's the transferring. For example, it would be much easier for an image hosting site to be started on our servers, but say if I transfered 100GB storage, that would probably cause high server load.
So technically you're saying that if I wish to use the space offered to me I can't because I use too much CPU ? Then why are you offering this space if people can't use it? Also, I just noticed, your server HDD is 250GB, so my question is: How can you offer 500GB of space on a 250GB HDD? Is it just me or that's impossible?
We'll be purchasing a second hard drive soon. And no, people can use the space. I'm simply saying that moving something that large would cause high server load. If someone started a website on our server, or transferred a smaller site, they would not cause high server load.
Is there any CPU limit? As per your terms and service, we are free to use any scripts that do not affect the normal operations of our servers. What if due to high traffic, our web page uses a high CPU?
But I don't have a small website, if I had a small website I would look for hosts that offer 5GB space not 500GB, understand? I just want to know from you (the guy who offers these plans) how can I (the guy who wants to purchase your product) take advantage of the full features offered to me in the hosting plans? I mean I really want the 500GB space to host my website, but you say that if I upload it would cause server load. So how can I move my 500GB website to your host in order not to cause server load? (you surely must have a solution, or else you wouldn't offer something that nobody could ever get to)
If your website causes high load on server, for any reason, or uses excessive resources (CPU), then it will be suspended.
