Make sure in google sitemap options ur sitemap is built check the last date, if it never build then follow the read me file.

u have to change ur sitemap.xml permission if file does not exist then create blank and rename then make file writable.

You also need to configure the sitemap settings - and rebuild the sitemap and then go to the url you have specified in the post and it should then work.

If you require any help let me know.

    Kind Regards

After activating the plugin, you then need to do:
Assuming you have wordpress 2.7.1 installed (the latest version of wordpress).
Click on setting on the left, then click on XML-Sitemap. Then click on "rebuild the site map" manually at the top of the page and it should say success and then you should be able to find it via your browser. If it gives an error then it may be due to the fact you have not uploaded two files in the root directory(the directory that contains all the folders for the site you mentioned at the top) of your install directroy. These two files will be sitemap.xml & sitemap.xml.gz (I think).

If you require any help - then do let me know .

    Kind Regards

It looks like you haven't built sitemap yet, so build it in settings and make default sitemap location lcdenclosure.co.uk/news/sitemap.xml bcs you are already using lcdenclosure.co.uk/sitemap.xml

P.S. Add sitemap location in your robots.txt - just add 2 strings:
    Sitemap: http: // lcdenclosure.co.uk/sitemap.xml
    Sitemap: http: // lcdenclosure.co.uk/new/sitemap.xml
