Added SSL to whole site - will it cause duplicate site?

I added SSL to my whole web site a week or so ago. I couldn't figure out how come the lock wasn't showing, than I realized that my site actually has duplicate pages with https. I think I'm in major trouble with this. Is it really causing then duplicate pages for Google? Is it supposed to do this? These pages have a grey bar. Can I fix this?

I have a ton of supplemental pages since Black Tuesday already where Google has much older caches than it did.

Have also lost page rank on inside pages.

In light of all this would it be best to not have SSL on all pages? I already had it in the shopping cart.

Thanks for any help you can give me as I am at a loss as to what I need to do,
    Carol

Https requires a separate robots.txt - so just block everything.

Thank you. How do I do that? My ignorance is showing I know. :)

Also, how would customers get to the SSL site if everything is published and linked as the non ssl?

In light of having only important links changed then, since I already had SSL in shopping cart would you consider SSL on the rest of the site an important thing?

    I appreciate the help!
