So, one of my sites (www.thecubsbrickyard.com), until recently was getting about 2000 uniques per day, resulting in about 3000 page views. This was a pretty consistent level for about three or four months. The majority of this traffic was from Google, most of which was Google images. So I decided it was time to give Adsense a try. I applied last Friday, and finally was approved on Wednesday. But in the interim, my traffic from Google fell off a cliff. There was a pretty serious decline starting on about Tuesday. Then worse on Wednesday, and then all the way down to just 600 or so uniques yesterday. I'd like to believe this is just a coincidence, but I have to at least ask. Is there some relationship between Adsense and Google SERPS? Is there any chance while Google was reviewing my site for adsense that they deciced, hmm, this site is way too high in the image serps?
Well, if that's the case, then try removing and see whether everything goes back to normal. I'm interested to find out whether there's any connection between both of them (something which I've heard before but no proven)
