    The vast majority are full directories. There are some that are links directories, but these are usually stable, high PR sites.

    These have to be the worst links here. I went through some of the 900 and most of them require human review. Others give 404 errors. Others dont have a place to submit. Some are simply linkfarms with zero PR. And lastly the rest requre expensive fees.

    You are better of with just a few quality links thna garbage. Also most directories get ZERO traffic and since there are too many outbound links NO pr is passed to you.

    true, but how about directories where the categories are related with about 10-15 listings only? I'm talking about niche directories. I'm not always sure what exactly it is that gets me ranked, but niche directories and forums, I believe have contributed a lot to my rankings.
