Add rule stickies to EVERY BST sub-forum

There is an INCREDIBLE amount of "pm sent", "I'm interested", "pm me the details", etc posts in the BST section. I have noticed that it is really bad in the content creation section. The way I see it is you have two options to fix this. One, make a rule sticky and post it in every sub forum of BST, or, get some more moderators and give them the power to ban these people.

Obviously these people are not taking the time to read the rules, and all that they are contributing is spam. They need to be stopped, and though the moderators do as well as they can with such limited staffing, not enough is being done.

I think you need to adopt a no-mercy policy on these types of posts. These people should be banned for 7 days if they ever post "pm sent" or similar messages, and if they come back after a week and do it again, they should be permanently banned and their IP blocked.

Thanks, and I hope you consider my suggestions.

as like u said, those people are not taking the time to read the rules. So i doubt making rules stickied on every sub-forum can be effective. just my 2cents

There is a similar problem here: Solicitations & Announcements.

    "submitted please approve"
    "thanks"
    "great directory"
    etc.

As Cameljourney appropriately pointed out, even if we are to have pop ups of rules for every post a member posted, this is still going to be a problem, simply because they do not bother about it.
