This is new to me and I want to share with all of you: Is known that if you change a simple character of an ad it will be placed on review queue and you need to wait for editorial review again. But today AdWords team explained why some of my Campaign stops completely: If you add/or remove one or more countries (configuration) of a campaign, all ads of this campaign will be automatically be queued for revision. The ads will continue for search network. But will not get impressions for content network ( so Site targeting also ) until all ads get reviewed again! Yes this is it, If you have a campaign running in 30 countries and you decide to remove 1 country, the campaign will not go to content on the remaining 29 countries until the review all hundred ads your campaign has. Comments?
I experienced the same thing...Annoying as well. They should have a script or something to help prevent that. It would make a lot of people happy. However, Google is the #1 Search Engine right now and I don't think people will leave it because of that. Even Google won't care because it's already #1 and there's probably not much left to achieve.
They have to have QC steps like this to prevent people from changing ads after they have been approved.
I have not changed any of the ads. I just removed some countries from the campaign list. This does not makes sense even they has specific country editorial rules as I removed countries not added countries.
HI Even I experieced the same thing, it was really bad without any information the account was under review & even Google rep were not able to answer properly.....Atleast they should inform beforehand about the time for review
I think that AdWords lacks a overture feature that shows when your ad is pending editorial review. Any idea why they do not uses that also like overture? Yahoo also sends you an email when your ad is approved and shows the pending approved as well.
