Add on domains and google

    Does it matter to search engines if the domain is add on or no?
    Does it affect your SERP.
    Also do they even know if the domain is add on.

    I have been running websites both as add-on domains as well as separate domains with an individual cpanel account for each of them. I have not found any difference

    Same here. Doesn't seem to matter much. Analytics don't seem to know any different. Awstats will tell me maindomain.com
    and
    site.maindomain.com

    Or something like that, but no big deal.
