Hello I have installed wordpress Version 2.5.1 on my hosting and I have also installed SMF 1.1.5 in a seperat folder on my hosting. I would like to link the SMF forum to the wordpress blog in the menu section of wordpress. How would I do that please? I am new to wordpress. Would I need to create a new page in wordpress? If so how do I add the folder path please to the forum homepage. Thanks in advance.
you don't mention where this folder is in your hosting. ie. do you have it as a subfolder of your blog or is it perhaps in a parent directory. Regardless, I believe there is a bridge to integrate members for SMF but I don't think that it works that well. The best way to do it would be to keep two seperate databases and just use the same header and footer design in both areas of your site.
