i hav a bank of india debit card it has a master card logo on it so when i am installing it on my paypal account it is saying it is a invalid number it has 16digits which i hav entered but it is still saying invalid number i correctly entered the card verification number also plz help me quick
No indian debit card either with VISA logo or with Mastercard Logo accepted by paypal for verification. You have to use credit card for that. DON.
If you are looking for payment processing then go with moneybookers as you can get verify yourself through postal address verification. DON.
You do plan to spend money through Paypal or just receive money ? If it is just to receive money then you can sign up with http://www.2checkout.com or http://www.paypal.com . If you want to spend then you need to have a paypal account then get a credit card, I heard it is very easy to get one in India now.
You can still purchase worth $100 from your indian unverified paypal account as unverified paypal account has $100 sending limit and $500 monthly withdrawal ($3000 lifetime withdrawal). After that you have to verify yourself so why don't you apply for a credit card through HDFC,ICICI or SBI bank DON.
Oh! sorry then nobody help you in this case. BTW you can still purchase online at ebay.in through paisa pay and online netbanking payment IMO. Try search for that. DON.
Most indian Debit cards will not be accepted BUT You can use the netsafe feature of HDFC bank to make a virtual CC of any cost (even INR 1) and use it online. No need for a physical CC
Its not supported by paypal. You can use Moneybookers or get a VCC and use it to get verified @ paypal. Btw, I never used a VCC and so, use it at your own risk.
the HDFC virtual card (vcc) will not help to create paypal account, i have experienced it myself, the paypal does accept the card, once completed you require to authenticate the card by entering sum code which is supposed to appear in your monthly statement, this will not happen as it is a virtual card & your bank account statement only shows debit from your account to Virtual account (POS...something), & any further activity (making a purchase through virtual card) will not be reflected anywhere. one more disadvantage is virtual card expires in 24hrs after creating it, the paypal saves your virtual card until you authenticate it without knowing it will expire in 24hrs. the paypal cannot differentiate between virtual card & credit card, it assumes it to be a normal credit card & asks you to check for th authentication code in the bill statement. if anybody has successfully created paypal account through vcc plz let me know.
^^It works You have to login to your netsafe account and check the statement to find the 4 digit code I have used the netsafe VCC to verify my self. And even expiration of the card you remain verified
you can use HDFC vcc to verify your paypal but i think you shouldn't use vcc its against paypal TOS and when they find out you will be in trouble.
