Hey guys, I guess im WAY behind here... but just thought i'd share how good it is to add some bookmarks on your site. I usally like making custom coded items, but for the first time i decided to go with addthis.com --> which adds a neat little popup button on your site with loads of bookmark links. I added it on May 28th, and up until today, it's given me 20 bookmarks a day. so i've got 260 backlinks/bookmarks for doing nothing. I'm adding it on every site i have. Think how many free backlinks your missing if you dont have it! Even if they are nofollows, its still a much higher chance of others finding your site and clicking on it. (direct traffic is good anyway ) 260 new ways to find my site in 13 days. sweet. Anyway, im sure most of you know that, but i thought i'd share, as im impressed. hahah Cheers.
nice work coco... I think your got really lucky. I know many of my blogger friends have the button and they don't get used all that often! I would consider yourself a lucky one!
Thanks for the helpful tip. I have heard some negative reports on using "add my site", but this is encouraging.
addthis.com is a great service, but why not hardcore it yourself into your web pages and remove the extra outbound link to addthis?
