Add alpha channel to video

    I have to rendered videos. One that is the character moving with a black background and another video that is the alpha channel render for that video.
    How can I make the 2nd video to be the alpha channel video for the first one (I have Adobe After Effects). I need this so that when I import the video in flash I won't get the lack background.

    I have flash CS3 professional...but that does not allow me to import two videos (one the actual video and onethe alpha channel video) and merge them. That is why I need AE.

    It can be done easily with Sony Vegas and likewise can be done with After Effects. I still have to check how it is done though.
