Add Adsense to free hosted Wordpress - is it possible?

    I wanted to know if it is possible to publish Adsense on the free hosted version of Wordpress?

    Everytime I add the code and then hit "update", it is automatically removed. Any suggestions?

    Adsense is not allowed on free WordPress.com blogs. However, it's allowed if your blog receives over 25,000 pageviews/month and VIP blogs. Check this help article.

    I have to agree - the free wp press is worthless - get you're own server and imbed the Ad-sense codes - using youre own ip and blog dash boards gives you total control overall.....

    Blogger is also an option. But why not just get a self hosted version?

    It's not that expensive just to get your own domain and host package, much better than a wp hosted page.

    If you are going to put in the time and effort with the blog using wordpress, then yes get your own domain name and server. It is not expensive and will give you total control to do what you want with it.

    hmm, and how does adsense to YouTube, I have a 3000 Channel Views per month and I can not cope with adsense .. the blog also: /

    If you have real good content then use blogspot but i still recommend to purchase own domain instead of blogspot subdomain and host it on blogspot. If you are new to blogging stick with blogger otherwise host your own blog this way you will have total control over it. Some time blogspot delete blogs even very popular blogs, this happened only when if your content violet their TOS. Normal blogger not aware of their rules so could lost blog and there is no backup system there.
