Add a TON of (forum) content

Here's my situation: I'm going to have a database of about 70,000 posts for my vbulletin forum. I'm buying out an already existing forum and then importing their DB into my currently existing forum (I'm basically merging the two forums).

It just never seems natural adding so much content to a website all at once. It seems suspicious and just not normal. Do you agree?

Would it be more appropriate to merge the recently purchased database slowly over time (like 1 or 2 months) or would it be fine to simply merge the DB all at once? I doubt there will be any, but can anyone think of any negative affects this my have on my website?

Apart from other factors on Google increasing/decreasing speed of site size and link nº is "observed" very tough. If you grow faster than on average during the last months/years there will be a rigorious search for signes/footprints of content building software used! If there are non you'll be ok but a "stupid" mistake with a folder or script name that is casually used too by a known content building software can get you in trouble.

My personal advice for best results - add 100 pages the first week and than go for twice as much every following week, but avoid exact nº, apply some variations. ;)
