    can you add a link at the bottom of threads, back to the forum page...
    so i don't need to keep scrolling back up.

    Oh yeah, forgot you guys don't all use Macs. :) ALT+1 on Windows (works in Firefox, but I don't think it works in IE).

    For those with browsers that support accesskeys, here's what they are in this forum...

    1 = Home
    2 = show new posts
    3 = print thread view
    4 = search
    5 = FAQ

    w = include quote (quick reply box)

    u = username field (login form)
    p = password field (login form)
    c = remember me checkbox (login form)
    s = submit (login form)

    Those are the ones I know of off the top of my head.

    Yes I know :eek:

    But that's way down at the bottom of the page. SM is asking for one at the bottom of each post (just like they do it in *cough* phpBB) so you don't have to scroll or <ctrl> end or <ctrl> home to get back to the navigation...

    Actually, that's another nice feature in *cough* phpBB -- the breadcrumbs navigation at the bottom as well as the top of the thread along with the pagination...

    Yeah I'd like a repetition of the nav bar just under the reply box as well. Maybe just the dark green part from User CP to Logout.

    See the small text link that says "Back to the top" at the bottom of each post here?

    That's the simplest... wherever you are in a thread, that will get you back to the breadcrumbs AND the navbar...

    Too much clutter IMO. As far as it being a "feature" of phpBB, it could be added to the vB template in 15 seconds, but I don't like it. :)

    I say you should lobby Microsoft to make your IE browser standards compliant, then you can do neat things like ALT+1. :)

    See at the bottom of my post there, the "Quote" button and the little curved arrow for "Quick Reply" at the right?

    Now, look to the left of those buttons in the same row... what do you see? That's right: Nothing. Nil. Nada. Sip. Blank space. All the way to the far left margin.

    You don't even need an image -- Just a simple text link anywhere in the row:
    <a href="#top>Top></a>
    Code (markup):
    There... was that so difficult?

    :eek:
