Anyone have hard conversion stats for selling lifestyle stuff - horrorscopes etc? Am keen to try other traffic sources apart from adwords. Thanks!
You should try Adcenter for yourself, i dont think you will hear a proper answer here reguarding "horrorscopes" in months ))
Adcenter I'd rate 4/10. Adwords I'd rate 7-8/10. Big difference. With Adcenter you can't select a 'from' and 'to' date when looking at any split testing, making improving your ads, more difficult than necessary. With Google it's simple. Adcenter, you can't pause keywords at the keyword level (nearest is Ad Group level), with Adwords, this isn't a problem. AdCenter & Yahoo have different annoying factors which make them light years behind Adwords. The bizarre thing is, these annoying factors are so bleeding obvious, yet they still haven't done anything about it. It's like selling cars, that can only go backwards!
why dont you check your horoscope and see what it tells you about how you will do on adcenter? hahaha sorry I just had to.....
adwords is the best to an extent, it just depends what your niche is and make sure you read all the "tricks" behind adwords, helped me out a lot.
I wish there was more info in this thread because I am trying to decide whether to go with adwords or adcenter.
Well i wish horoscope could predict the future, the horoscope experts would then rule the world. Adsense is the best any way... try the already tested and trusted Adsense..
I don't know about lifestyle stuff, but for retail AdCenter converts a bit better, but AdWords brings from traffic. I'm not a big fond of AdCenter, since sales and traffic tend to fluctuate a lot from month to month, and interface is somewhat inconvenient.
With Adcenter's new update you can know pause keywords and Ads instead of deleting them. I agree it is about time.
Adwords is by far better only because it generates more traffic. AdCenter would be a great program, I find it converts better than adwords yet it doesn't have enough traffic viewing the ads.
I think MSN is very much in beta mode. Very little volume. Trying their best to copy Google, but they're fairly far behind.
