Ok, I just set up an Ad with the exact same settings across all three networks. My results are this: - Adwords: Of course, mad amounts of traffic and conversions. (1006 clicks) - Yahoo Search: Not as much traffic as Google, but performs just as good. Good enough to keep using. (953 clicks) - adCenter: Just SUCKS. (21 clicks) Has anyone seen this kind of discrepancy between adCenter and the others? What am I doing wrong here? I am pretty sure I am using the same settings as the other two. Ideas? Opinions on adCenter? Ethan
you are advertising zango i guess, check if adcenter has deactivated some of your keywords or not, because they manually review them
In my experience the quality of the traffic from Microsoft is good but I hardly get any of it. Certainly I think as good as if not better for many of things I promote than Yahoo and Google.
Yes, the general wisdom is that, depending on your industry, AdCenter can actually bring very high-quality visitors (in terms of conversion rate), but they tend not to offer a very high volume of users. MSN AdCenter is only worth running if you can port your campaigns from other engines directly in and not have to worry about them too much. High quality traffic is good to have, even if there's not much of it.
For me adCenter works way better than Yahoo or Google. Conversion rate for adCenter is around 88% - Yahoo and Google is in 40% Google still whines about Website Quality as Poor; whereas Yahoo has quality Index at 5/5.
I think your results will vary by niche. My experience has been that the conversion rate for adcenter is okay but the traffic is so minuscule that my site would die a quick death if that's all I depended on. Like 1/100th of the traffic the site gets from adsense. Yahoo is better but still only a tenth of the traffic of the g.
I will still think adwords is better because they really drive the targeted visitor compare to the other 2 competitor. They should do more and chase them back.
