you might have set max bid price around 0.09 or more than that...check once again.

I had the same problem. My max bid was $0.50, but then it charged me $0.87 for a single click. I contacted teh support, and they were very helpful telling me that I had set incremental bids for countries. I had set the incremental bid for US to 100%, thinking that I was choosing to receive all visitors from US :p.

The point of the incremental bid is that, in general you set a default bid, however, for countries where you think competition is higher, you set a percentage of the increase on the bid based on the default bid, so that it puts you ad at a higher position.

    Hope it helped.

Whether you have set an incremental bid option for that adgroup?

So is there any way to insure traffic exclusively from the United States without having your bid increase?

Can you remove the incremental bid somehow ? Can you establish a fixed bidding price ?
