I don't know what the deal is but about half of my keywords got rejected today. I heard someone else say the same on another forum. I am pushing the user to a landing page that I created with different links to amazon, ebay, etc for the product they searched for. Is this not "relevant" enough? I'm giving the user a link to one of the few places they can even find this product Once again, Microsoft goes all anal with their product release and restrictions. When are they going to learn, it's a new open-source social driven net out there? For f's sake I can't even use AdCenter in Firefox. The only reason I even mess with MSN is b/c of the supposed high buyer ratio and the fact that the competition isn't there yet. When it gets saturated I'm running to the hills...
I had the same problem also, over half of my msn adcenter keywords were rejected. I have, in the past, had 1 or 2 rejected keywords out of maybe 100, but I dont know what their deal is today. You would think as far behind as they are to google, they would be trying to get every keyword approved to keep the clients they have. I dont really care though, I dont like the way they have their adcenter setup. You would think being the leading software company they could at least come up with a great adcenter page.... and one that is also compatiable with other browsers besides IE!
So this is a new issue? I have never had anything rejected by MSN. I didn't even realize they reviewed every campaign. Are either of your words anything a little risky?
They review every campaign before it goes live, then they also go back and review keywords periodically. Also Adcenter is compatible with FF.
Try the keyword "sex". It was rejected for one of my campaigns. You will see ads at the top of msn search though when entering the term. I wonder how that is accomplished?
How is the traffic you get from adcenter? Does it convert? Is it significant? I am thinking about trying adcenter.
My traffic is converting rather well, but it is very new and has many glitches that require support assistance. If you are using a promotional code, go for it. House money is a great way to practice- and it will earn you profits in the process.
I have had a few conversions but low traffic volume. It is almost as effective as Google but with a fraction of the traffic for me.
I'm new to adcenter so I've had very few impressions so far, but the free $200 coupon is a pretty good reason to signup
I also have same problem with my ads. the keywords I uploaded yesterday for few hours it was approved but when i check my ads this day more than half of my keywords were rejected. and i already spent a lot of money for those time that the keywords were go live. I dont really understand how adcenter approved and reject keywords. I'm just new with the adcenter
I don't think anyone does - they still need to work on this in my opinion. adCenter has a habit of denying my highest converting AdWords keywords. Drives me insane.
Were your keywords targeted or just a bunch of crap? but it all depends i have had times where a list all accepted then same list latter gets half rejected just try again.
Are these rejected keywords of a dodgy nature, or are there a lot of rejects due to technicalities in their rules do you think?
