Adcenter & Google Analytics

Basically I want to track my adcenter from within my Google analytics.

I have been scouring the internet for a solution - a simple solution that I understand how to implement.

There seems to be people who have achieved this but a lot of links to the relevant answer no longer exists.

I need a really simple, newbie guide on how to implement tracking within analytics.
