I did a google search of Adcence. There's only 272 results. I'm thinking that I'm not the only one searching for that. There's probably plently of people out of the 4 billion or more people on earth searching for misspelled words. If you market your site for a misspelled keyword are you likely to get crazy traffic?
The only way you'd know for sure is by doing some research to determine how many people are actually using the misspelling in searches. I think this would probably vary widely, depending on the misspelling. Sam
I see 0 searches per day for that term. So no it wouldnt be worthwhile. Ever since they have added the "Did you mean Correct Spelling" line when you searched for a misspelling it has been more difficult to get traffic from them. But keyword discovery has a nice search for misspelling feature you might want to check out if you are interested in those.
You can also use 'Good Keywords' to obtain a list of misspellings - it's a good tool, and best of all, it's free. Sam
When I want to add misspelled keywords to a project, I use 'Good Keywords' in conjunction with the 'Traffic Estimator Tool' (part of the AdWords suite of tools). Good Keywords provides a list of misspelled keywords, and I then input this list to the Traffic Estimator, which tells me which misspellings advertisers are actually bidding on. I then use only the misspellings advertisers are bidding on, and this approach has worked well for me on several of my websites. HTH, Sam
