Anyone else just continually have the generic "Advertise on this site" blank ad as opposed to actual advertisements from AdBrite? I set a ton of common keywords, but that is all that appears.
Do not forget, what you see is not necessarily what your visitors see. It depends on location and many other factors, Have a good week, SearchAnyway - PPC Search Engine. blog.searchanyway.com- SEO / SEM Blog
Yup, did for about 6 months. The whole thing kept bogging down my forums so I finally pulled it. Wishing you better luck though!
Fair enough, but I'm in the US, I access the site using two different US-based IPs, and my site is hosted in the US. By all means, they should have SOME ads targeted towards me. Is it an issue of keywords? Would I be better off without listing any keywords and taking anything they'll throw at me?
Not many people want to advertise through Adbrite network ads anymore because of all the fraud and very low quality sites/visitors. They really need to get their act together and build a more quality network. But they probably won't..
To be honest, it's just in the footer on my primarily ad-free forum. I was just hoping for some CPM revenue, so I'll leave it up for a month or two and see if anything happens, but I doubt it.
Well, CPM is all I'm really looking for. I don't expect many (if any) clicks. They are at least displaying ads now, so we'll see how it goes.
Do you have alternative ads setup? what price point did you set them to beat? I have it set to beat $1.00 CPM, but it seems that Adbrite can only supply a few ads @ that price. I guess I will try dropping the CPM more, but here are the results @ $1 CPM for yesterday: Ad zone Views: 3,617 CPM impressions: 230 Earnings: $0.23 Seems pretty sad that they can only fill in 230 ads with over 3600 zone views for the day. 6.3% fill rate is definitely making burst media look good.
I'm using PPC and interstitial ads. However, interstitials only count for 1/8 of my "eCPM" income (I think there's an interstitial shortage, as not many appear on my site).
