Any one here use AdBrite? I joined them as they were listed as an alternative to Google AdWords. It looks as though they try to match you up with ads in your niche. Right now it just has a giant white box with AdBrite written in the middle of it on my student loan site. It stated that it'd take up to 24 hours before ads start appearing. I've noticed when logging in to AdBrite it has a tab to review ads. I'm hoping someone here has/does use AdBrite & can explain it to me more. Will ads just start appearing on my site or will I have to approve them via this Review Ads tab?
They will eventually start appearing. About adBrite all I can say is that they pay extremely low. I had to remove them from my site because I was getting average $0.006/click. Go with Adsense if you can.
The default should be Auto approve. The ads should appear soon. If you site gets good traffic then good ads will start appearing. If your site is not of good quality or gets poor traffic then it is likely to take more time for ads to appear. If you want to turn on the feature where you approve each and every ad, then that can also be done. IMO do it a while later after ads have started to appear.
Well, been using adbrite almost a week. Ads appeared only for about one day!!!! I get at least 3000 visits daily, so i guess thats good traffic. Anyway i am ditching them today. Will stick with bidtraffic and infolinks and addyanamo
so the discussion concludes that ad brite is very slow on payment so we should prefer adsense..but google has some conditions before your accound get approved..i want to know does adbrite also had any conditions?
Adbrite does not have any condition for singup/approval plus they are fine if you have good US traffic.
I'v been told many horror stories about Adsense, mainly that once you reach their $100 threshold they will do anything not to pay you. I've also recently tried Kontera & have seen absolutely no result, so I'm hoping AdBrite works better than Kontera.
I'm not liking AdBrite from what I've seen thus far. It has added primarily ads about diabetes when my website is about student loans. It also has added that thing you have to click "skip this ad" for to get the page "un-hijacked" from being sent to another page. On to see what bid traffic offers!
I have used adbrite it's too slow takes a lot of time for ads to show up most of the time it is just default non paying text which looks really odd. dropped it already.
Nope they don't. I've added a review of them on my blog which you can see here http://moneybooksfree.com/?p=758
