Adbrite woes; Need New Ad Network?

    Hello Everyone,

I've been running a very popular entertainment website since about August and for what ever reason it's not paying out at all. I'm getting around 20 000 unique users a day and around 120 000 pageviews. On Adbrite I earn a daily average of about 8 dollars. Lately it's been going really low so i've been trying to find an adbrite alternative.

Here's a screenshot of my earnings yesterday.

The adzone views are allot lower because I changed one of my adds to a smowtion.com add.

Here are some screen shots of other people's earnings on adbrite.

My alexa rank yesterday was 18,081 and with 25% of all my traffic coming from the states I think I should be earning much more then what I am.

A friend of mine who has a similar site with the same ammount of traffic is earning over 50 dollars a day. Thats actually why I'm here in the first place because it makes me feel like I am getting ripped off. His alexa rank is lower then mine at 20,109 adn 28% of this traffic is from the states.

Now I have just signed up for smowtion.com advertising and so far it doesn't look promising. Here's a screenshot of my earnings thus far.

I've also signed up for 3 good CPM networks: tribalfusion, valueclick.com and adsdaq. Unfortunately Valueclick and Adsdaq have both declined my aplication and I'm still waiting on tribalfusion to contact me.

I'm wondering if someone here can help me either tweak my adbrite so I can make a good earning, or send me to another ad network that will actually pay me for my traffic. What are some good CPM companies that have good CPM rates?

Please fill me in with all your knowledge.
    Thank You

I just dropped smowtion because it seems like I only get a 20-40 percent fill rate. I'm trying Chitika for a week or so to see how it pays.

Are there some things I can do get a better CPM with adbrite? I'm running three adds on my site. Two 468 x 60 and one 300 x 250.

Are there any "special" keywords that give you a better eCMP? I have my main catagory set to "Arts and Entertainment" and my second as "Theatre and Film"

I'm running adbrite too, and I get only around $0.5 a day on my site which gets around 7k impressions a day.

So I'm thinking of moving too.

Is Asdaq or 24/7 media any good ?

    Hey guys,

I personally made a website last week and had around 23k visitors so far. So far i found that adsense is better than adbrite. Adbrite gave me 54 cents per day as adsense gave me $25-30 a day. Does anyone have good ideas of what companies I should sign up with? I don't sell products at all on my site, its just plain information.

    CountryBoy hehe :)

I guess you run watch TV online website? adsdaq just declined me too, only way I managed to earn properly with adbrite was full page ads... CPX interactive is beeing picky on alexa rank, and everything else... I need some pop under network or some something alternative to adbrite, so if you find anything, please share :)

I've actually tried adsense before but for what ever reason I never get payed. I've had 24,039 impressions and 195 click in the last week on one of my blogs and yet I have made nothing, not even one cent.

I will definetly let anyone in on anything I find. I'm using chitika and adbrite right now. CPM is still terible on adbrite.

Do you turn on Adbrite's full page ad? I'm sure with your pageview, you'll earn more if you turn on full page ad.

For the timebeing I don't use full page adds. I wanted to stay away from full page adds because I know how much of a pain they can be but may I will need to implement them to earn some money. I am using inline ads ATM.

Yes, I hear AdBrite has lowered their rates. I wanted to try their CPM but I turned out it's only $0.07, I have up.

well thats what you get. you gotta look at adbrite and adsense, as the fast food joint of ad networks. They serve all kinds of food (traffic) and they are cheap (for the advertiser) which means they pay you very little. You need to find the High Class places to eat from like Value Click, Tribal, 247 Realmedia, if you arent satisfied with adbrite. again, check my signature. at 167.9K impressions my net work should be able to get you at "least" $16 off the same amount doing CPM's. Max around $50 off of 167K impressions. Not bad. Look into it....Smart move to get in now.

yeaa chitika is good ... I heard people had problems with clicksor, so i wouldnt suggest that. if you are looking for a low profile network try out adx direct. They kinda suck, but u can get a decent amount of money off their crappy ads.
