AdBrite with Adsense ?

i'm giving a try with Adbrite.

can i use it along with Adsense ?

they're text ads only, but they like to be "contextual" as far
    as i see.

is it against google TOS ?

i've also CJ and Amazon image ads in the same page.

i've seen many other sites having adsense + adbrite text ads
so i was wondering if it's OK or not.

    Rocco,

It is ok. The main reason behind this is that your text ads are based on the "tags" you use for your site, and we do not scan your page. Therefore we are not "contextual". AdSense is a great service and we will be the first to admit that. AdBrite is completely different, and a perfect compliment....at least i think :)

    Thanks,

    Chris

Wow never knew that. You guys should have that all over your site, I would have given you guys lots more exposure in the past if I had known it was ok to do.

    thanks to all !

i'm using Adbrite right now along with Adsense, CJ, and Amazon.

i'll see how it goes :)

the best thing is the freedom to customize the CSS of the ads so it really melt well with my layouts, unlike Adsense.

Revenue diversification: nice move. Except... how big is the site? Seems like some overdiversification perhaps, if it's a smaller, niche site (i.e. -500 uniques/day).

    AdBriteChrist,

Is it ok to put the Adbrite referral on the same page as Adsense?

    Thanks

    @adBriteChrist,

I am also about to put adbrite on my website. As you mentioned adbrite is "tag" based and not contextual. You might want to communicate that.
Furthermore, a google testimonial saying it's ok to use adbrite in combo with adsense would be very nice ;)

    grtz

Yes, I am staff at AdBrite...More specifically I work with Publishers to help them monetize their site with AdBrite.

There are a number of posts, but here is one specific comment I received recently.

"Here's the official AdBrite answer: "We do allow AdBrite ads on the same site as Google ads (as long as the two aren't made to look exactly the same by the publisher)."

Keep in mind, AdBrite works very different than a network of ads like AdSense or YPN, and very much as a tool to help monetize and control your ad space. We do have a network of ads, but I am the first to admit that AdSense is a great program, and AdBrite is a compliment, and helps publishers in a very different way.

    Thanks,

    Chris
