I thought that paid traffic was against google adsense TOS, but from what I have been reading around the forums...this traffic is supposedly safe? Can anyone confirm or deny this for me?
I thought it's against Google TOS? (AdBrite ads look very similar to Adsense) except for the text inline advertising
It really depends on several factors : A) If you get busted. B) The quality of the traffic, I suppose. The intentions of buying the traffic may also effect the outcome, arbitrage is similar, however arbitrage does go deeper than just buying the traffic. I also have no idea and even when reading the terms and conditions on adsense - I am still left with no clear answer.
I couldn't find a clear answer on the site either. I would be sending the traffic to quality sites, not MFA crap. Another member has told me that it is like using Adwords and that is why it is safe. Because you are not purchasing traffic for people to just click through your site. Instead its through banners, text links, etc., which I guess makes it legitimate advertising because only interested people will click. Still a bit confused but ah well...what can you do lol.
Who knows, arbitrage was penalized and severe blows were dealt, but arbitrage is buying traffic and modifying your sites to maximize the profit margin primarily from the use of adsense earnings, I think the area is left wide open with no clear right or wrong answer, except for no paid to click, paid to surf, pop up ad's etc. for advertising. It's left hazy so Google has a leg to stand on when they finally boot you for click fraud.
