ok your right adbrite does suck, I just had to call them because my network ads diapeared, she told me that they have a new agorithm, that checks sites now, and if you dont have enough traffic network ads aren't displayed.. but the thing is adbrite has been on lyricsfeed.com for 5 months, and making money, but now all of a sudden it's not good enough? check your adbrite ads boys/girls.. they may say "AdBrite is the Internet's Ad Marketplace"

    they suck..

o..mg.. i decided to try them again on a 5000 a day unique site, just to see whatever, whatever (at the very top mind u, where i get $20 - $30 googies a day).. they show the lamest ads that nobody clicks, and they report in their text ads directory that my adverage click will cost $35 LOL because only 7 people clicked in 10,000 pageveiws.. now i know why ad-brite isn't a main thread, they really need to get their shitt together i imagine they're loosing thousands..

Ya im done with them for a while...ill let my current ads run, after all there paid for so no real choice, but after that im done for a good few months at least.

I dunno..dont think i can blame adbrite for my poor clickthrough rate, it probably boils down to me not knowing which ads to place on which site..more my own inexperience. Also publishers putting adverts in the worst positions doesnt help.

Ill stick to adwords for now..having some success with that.

You have bought ads on a scammer site who bought fake traffic through trafficswarm, clickvoyeger, Ts24. Please do not visit and pay these sites. You will regret it.

Interesting thread, thanks for sharing the experiences. I was contemplating using adbrite, but I think I'll pass on that.

Adbrite is the biggest scam there is. I've been trying to get my minimum payout since October. Just when I about get there. They dock my pending earnings back! Their scumbags over there!

What really proves me their company is a big fraud. Is the fact I had my minimum payout set at $50 at one point. However they'd dock my earnings. They'd do it over and over again. So I was like, I'm going to set it to $25. So at least I can get something, for running their ads on my site for months. Well notice they docked me all the way back to $16.70 from $37.91. Just to keep me from getting my minimum payout of $25.00

    http://bloomingtonsingles.net/Adbrite/adbriteearningsreport.htm

I have yet to receive a single penny from these sobs. I hope enough people get pissed off enough. That they sue this company for fraud. Because that's exactly what their doing.

I'd like to hear someone, who's simply just running the PPC ads, if they've actually gotten money from these aholes.

adbrite was started by Pud years ago out of his fuckedcompany website advertising..it never did all that well. I tried it a couple times and as stated...without someone buying your adspace it's worthless.

Hmm, this is a really interesting thread. I am new to DP.

Here is my experience. I have never used AdSense, not really sure why, but I haven't, yet.

I have used AdBrite, Clicksor, PayPopUp, AdultAdworld, TargetPoint, Etology, FriendFinder. Just trying TargetPoint & Etology now.

Mainly, I use AdultFriendFinder and ADBRITE. Obviously, the biggest caveat is that what works for one site may not work for another.

My sites do generate a lot of traffic, so obviously that helps. My best months, a couple people were paying $300 for a 1 month text link through AdBrite! Those are gone, but the numbers AND PAYMENTS from AdBrite continue to hold for me.

Here are some caps of my payment and traffic pages as a guide.
I am having a hard time posting images. Oh well.

    Total AdBrite Sales
    Last 7 days
    FIRST 7 days with Adbrite.

I've used it, and I still use it for one of my sites which makes a lot of money so it works for me and their more flexible then google in some ways. I use them mostly for putting ads out, personally I find it one of the best advertising systems I've made a lot of sales with Adbrite compared to Adsense. Adsense is filled with too many scammers and clickfraud, I end up loosing more money with Adsense then with Adbrite. Adsense is better for statistics tho, Adbrite's stats are pretty limited, whereas Adsense offers a lot of complicated stat tools that help you understand how your campaign is doing. But overall I prefer actual sales to stats, so in contrary to everyone else I've had only good results with adbrite plus you can get a lot more advertising for less money since some Adbrite sites you can barter with for cheaper prices.

woops didn't realize this thread was from so long ago :S

Adbrite does not check their publishers either...
Read about my experience with them as an advertiser: Adbrite Fraudulent Publishers

Basically, I've got a lot of fraudulent clicks the first day I was using their campaign... :(

Adbrite does not suck. Its well known when you have a high amount of traffic and you are selling directly to the advertisers from adbrite . If you dont show off the network ads then it will work best for you . While if you do not have high traffic then wait for the high traffic of yours then you will be able to get high income on the adbrite platform.

AdBrite SUX! I tried them for 3 weeks. I chose non-network (direct) CPM ads and interstitials. I chose only high CPM ads > $0.50 CPM each, yet I am earning a few dollars a day with over 100,000 pageviews daily. I have no CPC ads on my site only CPM. So where is the money? I do not like the 90-day wait for checks. Publishers are complaining that AdBrite doesn't get their money up front from advertisers so if an advertiser doesn't pay AdBrite withholds that revenue from your checks. So be careful with AdBrite. Their CS SUX too!

90days, it's Net-30 or 60, meaning you get last months check next month...

Some tips to advertisers, Don't advertise on smaller sites - If they have low traffic (less then say 1000) they're not worth it - they're more inclined to click on ads because they want the money badly. Also look to see whether anyone else has advertised on the site, if people have advertised on their site go for it- it most likely is ilegaltimate, if there's no one - check to see if the site is new (if it's new it could pay off well since it's cheaper now then it will be later on when it gets more traffic), if it's not new - don't advertise on it!

Use good ad techniques, just google it or look it up here - good usage of buzz words and hooks will get you lots of traffic. I prefer it because it sends some really nice traffic that converts to more sales and I think more people block google adsense so the ones that may buy your product are not seeing the ads. Play it safe and remember buyer beware, do your research - the best tip is to see if anyone else advertised there, I haven't had any problems with sites that did have advertising - the more advertisements they've carried, the better results for advertisers I find.

Campaign type Cur. Status Start Date
    CPC Text Pending Review 06/17/2007
