Yeah somethings been going on for over a week, ad's have been up and down (literally) as they were displaying the warning, can anyone else log in to their account yet ? I just tried but it just said something about we'll get back to you with your new login area and details. Hopefully this means more money and a better service.
that ad problem had nothing to with avnads.it was on the whole network of adbrite. the whois shows that the site moved servers. adbrite never has given notice or explained a big or small change. i havn't heard anything, but it is the weekend. what this means,if it is a new company you take a chance with that. it could mean that you make alot less.
A company of this caliber should have atleast sent an email to its account holders about any kinda changes
i agree, i didnbt knwo this was coming, they should of told us, i wonder what the updates are, there old system sucked... lets see how long it takes for us to check stats
Can anyone log in yet ? I have been waiting for the new URLs and log in information for a while now and it's frustrating.
...so has anyone been contacted by avnads.com yet? i think i'm going to call adbrite later today.i don't care if it is just for sales.
I never get ads in my network when i use them, reason for me to go to adengage, maybe with this update good reason to try them again
Still nothing, no reply from them - hope they will be accepting PayPal for payments, we may see a short boom of advertisers if this is the case. Still they should email everyone who's active and let us know what the hells going on....
I agree, they should have sent at least 1 email to say it was coming. This is very bad business doing it this way. There are many large sites that earn hundreds per week from using Adbrite and that would have lost them quite a bit of money not knowing it and would have probably even slowed their site down because the ads where trying to load when they couldn't.
all ads are on the adbrites domain,so it has nothing to with the topic. i've seen the dns bouncing back and forth. it's weired that 2 hours after my last post i got a new ad to approve.
mmmmm It hasn't really effected my sites, well the ad's are still displaying - but on the other hand no-one is logging in and purchasing or re-newing ad's. Wouldn't the sensible thing to do be - get the second / new site up and running on the new server and then switch over ? making sure it was working before they switched servers - like most of us do when moving sites and upgrading.
mine either. in adbrite you manage your account even as an advertiser for avnads. you would think, but it's adbrite
Oh can you, can you also log in to your (avn) publisher account (through adbrite) ? I really want to see how I have performed the last few days.
you need a zone set up in adbrite to see them though. go to statistics.click on Daily stats or Ad stats.in the "Which Zone?" menu, you can see the zones that you have in avnads.
