Adbrite slowing down my site terribly - Anyone else facing this ?

For the past one week adbrite ads have been slowing down my site terribly. The site loads fine but when it comes to the point of loading the adbrite ads, it takes a long time and sometimes the page gets stuck.

Firefox manages to load the page even if it takes time, but IE just quits. So most of my IE users think that the problem is with my site.

Anyone else facing this problem with adbrite ads ?

 

yea I was having this problem the past couple of days. It's been getting better for me though.

 

I've had bad load issue with the text part of banners with adbrite. Takes like 60 seconds to load sometimes and thats ontop of the 5 seconds to load my content -.-

 

Are you using just banner/text ads or full page ads?

 

I have taken it off my site and have mailed adbrite support. Lets see what they say. If they fix this issue i'll surely put it back.

I think more publishers should send complaints regarding this (since everyone is facing this) to the support to highlight this issue.
