I have a site based on consumer electronics (the category i chose) and the ads are irrelevant to my site. all the ads displayed are off topic so why would anyone click them? Is there a way to get better related ads that people may be wanting?

    Need help please.

Im after a reliable ppc other then adsense or ypn.

With adbrite, you get paid weather they are clicked or not.

Cant reccomend any other companies that you would be interested in, but with Adbrite its nearly impossible to get relevent links unless a publisher buys them direct which in most cases is rare.

Advice is to look around the forum for a better alternative.

I don't think AdBrite is crap. I'm assuming you are referring to the network ads that are displayed on your site. They do not display network ads (which you only get paid for IF they are clicked on) based on the category you choose for your site. They should display ads based on the tags you entered in for your site. This was one of the options you see when you setup your ad zones. If you edit your ad zone, click on the 'tags' tab and see what you entered there.

Don't get me wrong, their ads are still not completely relevant all the time. I still see network ads on my site that have nothing to do with what tags I entered. But, with some tweaking, you can improve what you get.

And if you are really unhappy with what they give you, then don't display network ads (uncheck that option in your ad zone). But, then you will only make money when someone buys an ad specifically from your site on their site directory. It will be pay per day, week, or month. No more getting paid per click. But, you have complete control of ad approval for your site. I like getting PPC, so I put up with the irrelevant ads from time to time.

    Hope this helps!
