I recently started using adbrite for ads on my site I have noticed over the past few days the revenu I generated is going down last night it was 1.05 and now 0.87 has anyone ever had troble with adbrite? any Idea whats going on. there page view numbers are also giving off false numbers the other day I had 975 users on my site at one time there page view numbers said there was only 120 impressions for that day its not possible most of them where going to the homepage where I have the ads so impressions would have been higher. I have contacted them and waiting for email.
Make sure you keep rejecting all the low paying ads every day, you dont want to be displaying .05 cpc when you could be displaying a cpm.
the money I had earned was going down rather than up I decided to scrap them still waiting for a responce from them.
In my experience with them, you will be waiting about two weeks for a response via email. If you want a quick answer, get them on the phone. But, many times they told me what I wanted to hear, giving promises that something would be fixed, to get me off of the phone and not resolve the problem. And yes, their stats seem to be a little "off" sometimes. On a lighter note, you can make some decent money from them if you have a high traffic site with over 2k UV a day...
I got an email from them and im not happy here it is "Hello Barry, Thank you for your email! By the very nature of the marketplace ad earnings will fluctuate based on the number of available advertisers. What I can see is that your overall earnings are growing substantially from last month which indicates the growth of your zone more accurately. Differences between our tracker and others are not uncommon as each tracks on different parameters. Our tracker works directly from the AdBrite code and only tracks pageviews and unique users when the code loads. So, each ad zone will only track hits relevant to the specific pages that display its ads. The tracker does not track hits that are automated or hits from users that have ad blocking software. Similarly, it will not track two visits as distinct unique users if our system interprets them as coming from the same place (think two people using an internet cafe at different times of the day). While this may seem to under report your true traffic, it gives our advertisers an achievable minimum level of traffic that they can expect and gives AdBrite a standard which can be used across all types of websites. " where in this does it say anything about where my earnings went! I wont be using them again.
Are you sure all then traffic that was on your site in one go was not a robot. I had just over 100 visitors on my site at one go and found out that it was actually about 2 - 6 real visitors and the rest was the Yahoo robot crawling my pages to update their search index.
120 impressions is the amount of ad impressions, if theres no ads to display it will not show up as an ad impression, you need to change your ad keywords. I make between $3 to $12 on adbrite a day so you can see how much it can change in a few hours.
I tried Adbrite a couple of times and never had any luck. Still only had success with adsense, yahoo and msn ppc.
it was the click and revenu earned that was going backwards they would'nt tell me anything about that. I closed my account with them today.
I left them and now am using auctionads link in sig There ads are very sensative they stop showing if the page starts to take to long to load crap, but what ive heard about them they give out high pay out so hoping to make a bit with them
I'm using them because it takes advantage of Ebay 30 day cookies should give out high payments i've got more clicks with them than I had with google all last week
