AdBrite Question

Discussion in 'Pay Per Click Advertising' started by torhost, Aug 11, 2008.

I am interested in becoming an AdBrite publisher but there is one major problem, I am not 18.

I have a legal personal student banking account entirely in my name and am legally employed by a company in the USA

AdBrite doesn't ask for my age, but can any conflicts arise out of this small problem?

    Regards

Well, I guess their terms say you have to be eighteen to register as a publisher. If you register when you're younger than that you'd be breaking their rules and they could ban you and refuse payment. If you're a US resident I'm sure they'll notice if you don't provide an SSN.

If you're not located in the US then the chances are they'll never find out, but the risk is yours.

Yeah, I just checked their terms and being at least 18 years old is definitely a prerequisite.

In my opinion, if you provide an SSN and they check your tax status (or whatever they do with it) they may well notice that you're too young. As I said before, they could ban you from their program for being in breach of the terms.

grikis: We hear what you're saying but cutting and pasting that same thing over and over will only result in trouble for you.

Maybe that's why adbrite requires people be 18? Best to deal with adults. Better chance they know how to do real business. :)
