I cannot see that being a major problem at the moment but as soon as the cheques stop coming or they start bouncing that is when i will start to worry.

Infact , I dont know why one ad broker company like adbrite can be bankrupt . They only take money from advertisers and pay 50% for the publisher , keep themself 50% right ?
Layoff 40% of their staff is good move to save the cost. Calm down gangs !

What other networks can people recommend besides adsense and adbrite? I've used both, but would like a 3rd option.

I have liked the results i have received from bidvertiser - plus a very low minimum for payout thru paypal (only $10). I had used adbrite in the past - i switched away from them since the payouts were lower. My 1st click with bidvertiser was $1.28. :D

    good luck to all

That could be a reason why no one from AdBrite answers support emails anymore.
I had a problem with their inline ads script, it would hang FireFox 3. Its been more than three weeks and there is no response from them :(

thats kinda scary that your site got so affected - and the lack of response is not at all a good thing. may be time to start testing out other programs, or hope they get acquired quickly by someone else.

don't spread roumers about adbrite ...

Adbrite is a top five advertising network according to Comscore. They sell advertising for more than 70,000 websites and serve 1.3 billion ad impressions per day.

    :) roumers ..
