Adbrite keeping 95% of your Ad Revenue? WTF, y'all?

I've been using Adbrite for about 4 Months now, spent endless hours trying to improve my returns, and it's plain horrible.

I've got about 15.000 unique visitors, with two ad zones that largely rely on network ads, and I hardly make $2/day.

What particularly enrages me right now are the statistics I'm getting for my text/banner ad zone that I've got at the bottom of the page. The numbers suggest that Adbrite is keeping up to 95% of the revenues it's generating.

Here's a couple of examples from my ad/revenue statistics for the past 30 days:

    1.
    Type: CPM Banner
    Cost or Max Bid: $2.00
    Impressions: 13.549
    Earnings: $1.57
(--> Adbrite keeps 94% of the revenue)

    2. CPM Banner
    Cost or Max Bid: $3.00
    Impressions: 8.178
    Earnings: $1.76
(--> Adbrite keeps 93% of the revenue)

    3. CPC Text
    Cost or Max Bid: $0.07
    Clicks: 10
    Earnings: $0.25
(--> Adbrite keeps 64% of the revenue)

    4.Type: CPC Text
    Cost or Max Bid: $0.50
    Clicks: 6
    Earnings: $0.15
(--> Adbrite keeps 95% of the revenue)

Is there something I'm not getting, or is AdBrite just a complete rip-off?

Rip off!! I have they're ads running on my site and the returns are total crap! ($26 from 900,000 page views!!) they are ripping off their publishers, i wouldn't be suprised if they aren't ripping off their advertisers!

    cheers

If its an adult site go with affiliate programs or adultadworld, if not then why are you with adbrite? Go with adsense or clicksor.

I actually didn't want to talk about alternatives, but about the way AdBrite does business. If you look at the numbers in the first post, are they really keeping 95% of what the advertisers are paying here?

The issue is that Adbrite seems to keep a high share of the revenues, not that the revenues themselves are low (which in my case is also true, but it's not the main point.
