I had serious issues with adbrite I would like to know if anybody else had issues with them. My niche is health. 2 months ago I started a full page interstitial campaign with them. I selected amongs their impressive different criterias such as race, salary, niche, etc... It showed that around 300,000 impressions per day were available for the criteria selected. 48 hours later (pretty long time frame, but acceptable) my ad was approved, so everything is fine so far... The highest bid for a campaign in my niche showed $0.001 per impression, so I made sure to put $0.002 so I would be the highest bidder. 48 hours later I had 0 ad impressions. So, I sent an email to adbrite about that. 4 days later!! I got an email back from them simply telling me to not choose too specific criterias for my campaign and choose more subjects. I waited 4 days for them to tell me to choose more subjects and less criteria!! Even though it showed 300,000 impressions per day were available for selected subject/criteria and I was the highest bidder of my niche! What is up with that??!! How can 300,000 available ad impressions can just not exist? 1 week ago I submitted a text ad campaign that I wanted to show on alexa.com. 24 hours later my ad got denied. Reason given: Ad declined: Traffic to Your Website Reason (if given): Unfortunately, we do not allow the promotion of traffic exchanges or paid to click/surf programs. My website is not a traffic exchange or paid to click neither surf program. My website is an ad network. So, I sent them an email telling them that they are wrong, that my website is an ad network. 48 hours later I got the following response: Thank for emailing. Our records indicated that a CPM text ad for Invoice # 273673 was declined on April 1,2008. The ad had the following url ////(do not want to do self promotion) and was rejected due to: Thin affiliate sites: These sites collect pay-per-click (PPC) revenue by sending visitors to the sites of affiliate programs, while providing little or no value-added content or service to the user. These sites usually have no original content and may be cookie-cutter sites or templates with no unique content. They simply gave me the definition of what a "Thin affiliate site" is!! My website is not that at all! Swear to God!. What do you think? Maybe they do not accept ad network. If so, why don't they just admit it. I am running several campaigns for the same website with yahoo and google without any problems. So, all of that to say that I have never been able to run an ad campaign with them! And I paid the $4.95 setup fee. It's not a lot but still. They are so weird! Everytime they answer a quetion I asked them by email, their answer never collerate with what I see in my control panel or what they write in their ads guideline. And if I ask further questions, they just repeat what they said in their previous email i.e. don't answer the question. Anyone else had problems with adbrite?
